Open issues are present in some versions of MS Windows. When a certificate is displayed by an application running under Windows-NT4, Windows98 or Windows95 and the subject field of the certificate contains UTF-8 characters, the data is not correctly visualised. According to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 824197 the problem source is in the operating system itself and no fix is planned.
